Jan. 11, 2018 (Davenport, Iowa) – Gilda’s Club is joining forces with the Quad City Mallards to help kick-off the first annual “Pink the Rink” game on Saturday, Feb. 10. The Mallards will take the ice against the Fort Wayne Komets at 7 p.m. at the TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline.
Throughout the game, fans will have opportunities to support Gilda’s Club as raffle tickets can be purchased for the chance to win 2 team autographed hockey sticks and other memorabilia which will be given away following the game.
For this special event, Gilda’s Club is selling lower bowl tickets at the discounted rate of $15 with $5 from each ticket sold going back to Gilda’s to help support our mission of providing free cancer care support to anyone affected by cancer. In addition to supporting Gilda’s Club, this special event will celebrate all who have been impacted by cancer and include organizations such as NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative, Pink Pajama Party of the Quad Cities and American Cancer Society.
