CANCER—it’s a word no one wants to hear but Gilda’s Club Quad Cities wants to ensure that, when they do, they know they do not have to face the experience alone. This year marks an important milestone as we celebrate 20 years of serving those in our community that are impacted by cancer.

Patients, families and their caregivers are at the heart of what we do. We offer people the chance to find the support that suits their needs. Programs at Gilda’s Club empower people to face their cancer diagnosis with strength and a sense of community. People can take a yoga or nutrition class, gain knowledge on how to manage the cost of their cancer care, or share experiences in a weekly support group. All at no cost to them.

I’m asking you to help ensure that more people can access the special community of support available at Gilda’s Club. We know cancer will impact the lives of 75% of Quad City families in their lifetime. People like YOU – YOUR spouse – YOUR sons and daughters – YOUR mom or dad -YOUR friends, neighbors and co-workers. Today, I’m asking that you join us to Take on Cancer Together.

With your gift to Gilda’s Club Quad Cities through the Birdies for Charity program, you can help us Take on Cancer Together. Your support translates into programs that helps patients and their families leave empowered and filled with a greater sense of strength and community. Your gift through the Birdies for Charity program will receive a minimum 5% match, making your donation have an even greater impact!

With your support, we can Take on Cancer Together! Thank You.
