The Huffington Post recently reported on some exciting new research.  According to the research, people with strong social ties may have an increased survival rate.  Information on the study can be found in the November 2012 issue of the journal Breast Cancer Research and Treatment.  The study, which focused on women with breast cancer, found that patients with strong social networks had a lower mortality rate than those who were socially isolated.
