Moline, IL (August 2017)–The City of Moline, Moline Fire Department and the Moline Police Department are joining forces with Gilda’s Club to support those who are affected by cancer with a Go Pink Fundraising Campaign.

Public employees serve our community in a variety of ways, including building/repairing infrastructure, delivering the highest quality water, responding to emergency police/fire calls, to ensuring that our parks are beautiful to enjoy. The City of Moline wants to use their public platform to show support for those who are affected by cancer and let them know they are with them in their fight against cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and during that month City of Moline employees will be wearing a special edition shirt to show our support for those who are affected by cancer.

The City of Moline will also make the shirts available to the general public and every penny raised will go to Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities.

Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities provides support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer and they do it free of charge.

QC Custom Tees has designed a special edition t-shirt, available in men’s, women’s and children sizes as well as long sleeve. The shirts will be available for order through September 22nd, 2017.

The t-shirts will come in three different designs and orders can be placed with the City of Moline logo, Moline Fire Department logo, or the Moline Police Department logo. Order your shirt by visiting

We will have a special pickup on September 29th and September 30th from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at the Moline Police Department. Those picking up will need to show their proof of purchase or have an ID.
