Identity theft is taking the country by storm with medical identity fraud becoming more prevalent. It can take months, sometimes years for medical fraud to be detected. Participants will learn more about the five types of identity theft, and in so doing, learn which the largest form is.
Oral Health for Life

Cancer treatment can wreak havoc on all parts of your body, including your mouth. Sarah Borsdorf, Community Dental Consultant with the Scott County Health Department, will discuss with us the signs and symptoms of chemo and radiation affects within the mouth, how those conditions change one’s function and how to manage them for improved comfort and health.

This month, with the help of local artist Dawn Wohlford-Metallo, we will be making collages. Dawn is the Visual Arts Director for Quad City Arts in Rock Island, Illinois where she has worked since 2001. In partnership with Living Proof Exhibit, sponsored by UnityPoint Health.

Everything Green Night

A great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is with food and socialization. Please join us in a healthy appetizer workshop. We will be making two different types of appetizers that both have a green theme. The appetizers will be healthy, fresh and flavorful. Once we’re done cooking, we can eat and socialize!!
