Cancer Support Source-Caregiver™

Gilda’s Club Quad Cities, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, is pleased to offer a new nationwide program, Cancer Support Source-Caregiver™, an innovative tool designed to help you identify your specific personal needs that are unique to your caregiver experience.

Based upon your Personal Support Care Plan™, Gilda’s Club Program staff will link you to important information and resources that will help to reduce the distress that caring for someone with cancer can often bring. In answering some brief questions, you will identify areas of concern for you as a caregiver for someone diagnosed with cancer.

You will be asked to describe:

  1. Your own physical, emotional or self-care needs;
  2. Caregiving tasks or roles; and
  3. The physical and emotional experiences of the patient you are helping.

We will also ask you how you would like to receive help.
