Gilda’s Club Quad Cities has been following the CDC guidelines very closely throughout the entire pandemic. Following the latest guidelines from the CDC and the increase of COVID cases in our area, we are requiring masks for all individuals when in our clubhouse regardless of vaccination status beginning Monday, August 9th, 2021.
Wednesday, September 29, 6:00PM (dinner begins at 5:30)
This program featuring Dr. Susannah P. Friemel, M.D. with Iowa Cancer Specialists focuses on building awareness among patients and caregivers about Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), and how to foster an open dialogue with your health care team about treatment options, side effect management, and living with chronic blood cancers. Boxed Meal provided for in-person attendees. RSVP required.
Divas get ready! We’ve got a great party planned and now that most everyone is vaccinated we are so ready to celebrate safely and raise money for those in our community living with cancer. We continue to provide services and support so that no one faces cancer alone in the Quad Cities region.
Heavy hors d’hoeuvres, signature cocktail, silent auction, live auction, Fund-A-Need and a ladies night of fun! The funds raised at this event remain local to our community and support the mission of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities.
Chemo Care Bag Project
We need YOUR help with filling chemo care bags for patients going through treatment. This bag is a special gift that will be given to individuals facing treatment for the first time. The chemo care bags will be filled with items to help pass the time during treatment and bring them joy during the long periods of time they are at the cancer center(s).
Our goal is to fill 100 chemo care bags.
Donations can be shipped directly to the Moline Clubhouse [600 John Deere Road, Suite 101, Moline, IL 61265] or dropped off during normal business hours, Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00PM.
If you have a donation not listed on the Wishlist, please call Program Director Kelsey Allen to further discuss, 563-326-7504.
