Time means everything,” she said. “Every day…every moment.”
As the year comes to a close, I wanted to share a video from our member, Kim Ricketts. She shares about her diagnosis with advanced ovarian cancer, about the family she loved with her whole heart, and about the role Gilda’s was able to play throughout her battle with this disease.
When you give to Gilda’s Club, you are helping us create a world in which people living with cancer can find strength through connections, hope through the hears of other people, and a place to honor the precious time they’ve been given.
Are you at a fork in the road in your cancer treatment? Just starting treatment and choosing between treatments or thinking of changing treatments? An Open to Options session may be able to help! Sit down with a licensed mental health professional and get on paper your situation, options, goals, and leave with a printout of questions for your doctor. Open to Options can help with anxiety and make you feel more prepared to make your treatment decision.
Get an appointment by calling 563-326-7504 or signing up for an Open to Options session at gildasclub.org/calendar.
