A Stress Management Class for Cancer Patients
Through weekly group sessions, cancer patients will learn:
- Strategies to help manage stress
- Ways to lessen the impact of physical symptoms of cancer
- Skills to cope with common problems faced by people with cancer
Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 5:15 – 6:45 PM, ending July 3, 2018, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Cancer Center.

Designed to inspire and provoke collaborative action, the Biden Cancer Summit program will highlight stories of trials and triumph throughout the cancer journey, feature the latest and most promising cancer research and technology developments, spotlight transformative community-driven initiatives, and amplify public and private sector partnerships to drive improved patient outcomes.

This free workshop offers information on one of the most exciting new discoveries and treatments for cancer, immunotherapy. Patients and their loved ones are invited to join us as we learn how the immune system interacts with cancer, treatments that are currently available as well as treatments that are being developed, and tips to manage common side effects.
