Volunteers

The mission of Gilda's Club is to provide a place, free of charge, where people living with cancer - their families, friends and co-workers - can join with others in a comfortable and home-like setting for social and emotional support through networking groups, lectures, workshops, and social events.

Volunteers are used in a variety of ways, that include; Noogie Nights, gardening, workshops, Goodie Gang, and special events.

Camp Genesis for Families Living With Cancer (5/29/2008)

Gilda's Club has partnered with the Genesis Cancer Institute and the Scott Family Y to offer kids a special week long residential camp. Camp Genesis will be held July 27 to August 2 and will provide children ages 8 to 14 an outstanding camp experience along with educational programs provided by Gilda's Club staff.

The Genesis Cancer Institute has made it possible for kids to attend for free.

Gilda's Run for Laughs (4/13/2008)

Thank you to the over 900 runners and walkers that braved the cold on Sunday, April 13th to participate in our 1 mile and 5 K. For results please go to the Cornbelt Running Club website at www.cornbelt.org.
