We all want to know we have made a difference in the life of another. This year our community has a unique opportunity to make an impact of the lives of many. The American Cancer Society will be enrolling participants at the Relay for Life of Rock Island County, being held at Black Hawk College, Moline, July 30th from 6:30-10:30 p.m. this year only. This is an opportunity for those who have never been diagnosed with cancer to actively get involved in research that may help determine what things in our lives might prevent cancer, so that one day we may have a cure! Gilda's Club will be offering a monthly support group in Clinton, Iowa, beginning May 10, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The group is open to any adults affected by cancer.
